Coronavirus - An Update

Well I thought I'd give an update on how the current pandemic is affecting us here at Rose Cottage. It all seems a bit odd at the moment, with a real disconnect between what the news is saying vs. what we are seeing here in Sleaford. There seem to be no cases yet locally, and life continues as normal.

However, in light of yesterday's advice from the government to avoid going out to socialise I thought I should clarify our position here.

At present, we are operating as close to normally as we can. We like to think that we maintain really good cross-infection control as it is, but we've stepped things up a little with hand sanitiser available at the front desk, and even more regular cleaning of frequently touched surfaces.

If you are feeling healthy, and have not been advised to self-isolate please attend for your scheduled appointment as normal. However, if you wish to cancel your appointment due to concerns, even at short notice, we will not charge you at this time.

If you have a persistent cough, or a high temperature, or if someone in your immediate family has these symptoms please do not come to the practice, but self-isolate for 14 days. If you need to cancel your appointment you can call on 01529 302143.

I wish you all well and hope that things will return to normality as soon as possible.
